. MEDICAL ACUPUNCTURE AND CHINESE TRADITIONAL MEDICINE
Acupuncture is a method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing by improving the function of the organ involve in that disease. This is done by either stimulating or slowing the function of the organ concern via the nervous system. Over five hundred points are traced and well defined scientifically on the surface of the body. The body organs are communicated through these points through the well-defined acupuncture points. Sterilized, copper or stainless-steel needles (that are as fine as a human hair i.e. calibre of 27 to 30 into these acupuncture points located near or far on the surface of the skin. The electrical outflow through nervous system to the organs involves alternation of various biochemical and physiological functions of body organs. The disease or sickness conditions are automatically disappearing with improvement of organ function. The treatment is permanent or long lasting. The treatment can be repeated again after few months if necessary. There is no side effect and contraindication of this procedure.
Traditional Chinese Medicine views a person is equal to an energy system in which body and mind are unified in one and influencing and balancing each other. Chinese Medicine emphasizes a holistic approach that treats the whole person as a single unit.
Western medicine believes that the body is made of various organs as the various parts of the car engine. therefore, human being life has no control over disease and both are separate entity.

Qi – This word is from the Chinese language (pronounced chee) and it is basic form of energy in the foundation oriental medicine. Hence there is an outflow of nervous energy, which is flowing throughout the body . This energy flows throughout the body in twelve main channels known as meridians that connect all of our major organs to the body and to each other. According to Chinese medical theory, the origin of illness starts, when the cyclical flow of Qi in the meridians becomes obstructed, unbalanced, hyper or hyper active.
Acupuncture points have been mapped out by the Chinese Traditional Medicine scientists over a period of over 5000 years. There are several researches and further studies are going on in USA, UK and Europe. These points are named as “Battle Field Acupuncture” and published in the various medical journals.
